The mission of Personal Responsibility Organization (proYOU) is to facilitate the development of self-ownership through the empowerment of Kids, Teens, and Adults.
The future vision for proYOU is clear – to assist as many adults and kids as possible in becoming confident and expressing themselves powerfully in the world.
To start off 2020, the proYOU schedule was overflowing with multiple different In-Person events and programs including the Identity Weekend Retreat, Graduate Identity Workshop, Kids & Teens Identity, and two fundraising events. With the unprecedented and fully encompassing COVID-19 taking hold in the US in mid-March, proYOU faced the challenging task of pivoting to a fully virtual/online platform.
It was with great intention and incredible teamwork that we were able to adapt as an organization. The flexibility and growth that were exhibited by everybody during this time have been truly remarkable. To provide the much-needed connection to our community, during these unfamiliar times, proYOU provided a new weekly video series ‘Unwind Wednesday’ for 24 weeks in a row with an average of 1,000 views. With this online growth and expansion of followers, came a new opportunity to teach a Virtual Identity Workshop with a group of participants in California. These opportunities have fueled the passion for proYOU to build this organization geographically and continue to build communities of people, learning and leaning into their own purpose.
Connected with thousands of individuals through proYOU’s weekly Facebook program, offering various topics and support through the challenges of COVID-19
• Offered Identity virtually for the first time and launched in Los Angeles, California, with a cohort of participants
• Delivered small group Kids, Teens, and Adult Identity Programs
• Hosted the first-time Virtual, 4th Annual Celebration Event, featuring a red carpet for our kid and teen cohosts and raising more than $50,000 for proYOU
• Created and launched the proYOU Coaching Program with our amazing staff of Coaches and Teachers
• Expanded the Kids and Teens Programs with virtual modules for schools and partner area agencies serving youth through the pandemic
We have a wide variety of Certified Life Coaches, ranging in specialties from Parent and Dynamic Family Coaching to Teen and LGBTQ+ Support. We are blessed to offer a Veteran Specialty as well as Executive Business Coaching.
